ADE History

More information about 'ADE' can be found here http://rolywilliams.com/ade_stationary.html Swedish company ADE from Insjön started as a mail order company selling radio equipment during the 1920's. In late 1940's to 1960's they produced a series of stationary steam engines, tractors and train sets. The engines were sold by the post order company Clas Ohlson, also from the town of Insjön. A typical ADE disease is cracks in the boiler due to metal fatigue.
