The Schiffmann Sammlerkatalog lists the 4098/92/8 as being built post-war, but the engine base is the same as the 4097 pre-war. The boiler on this design is 8cm diameter and constructed with more ridging for strength than the earlier brass boilers. I added the 3392 dynamo later, but the mounting holes are pre-drilled for its installation. A solid toy strongly constructed for the discerning enthusiast.
