Notes: The Mamod Minor no. 2 was introduced in about 1948. This example dates from 1953 and curiously features a mazak flywheel but in the hot stamped brass type pattern. The engine is in entirely original condition, but features a professionally reproduced period decal by the owner.

Notes: The Mamod Minor 2 was the second smallest stationary engine made by Mamod. This one had a vap burner, indicated by the cut-outs in the base, since this engine didnt come with a burner when I got it. Like the MEC1, it is a very versatile engine, seen here as a traction engine, and a paddlesteamer.

Notes: This is an example of an early Mamod Minor 2 with raised base. Note that this does not have an overfill plug, does not have red paint inside the chimney and the greenish color on top the boiler is kind of darker than the later Minor 2s. The burner in this sample is a reproduction.
